We are getting about 9-12 dirty diapers a day and only 4-5 wet ones (mostly with the dirty ones, very rarely by themselves. Is this normal for a BF baby? We are still on the same schedule we have been on practically since birth, and I know she is gaining weight from the way her clothing fits her (finally well into her newborn stuff and starting to fit into her 0-3 month stuff). With my son, he had a lot more wet diapers than dirty ones, I just wanted to make sure this was ok before I drag her into the doctor's office over it. She will be 3 weeks tomorrow.

She has also started to have outrageous blowout diapers at least once a day most of her dirty diapers are pretty substantially full not just squirts or wet gas.

My babies were poopers also, at every feeding they would go again. And oh the blowouts... I wouldnt be concerned, she is still getting a good amount of wet ones, and the dirty ones probably have pee in them too. Oh the outfits they go through. :)

my first baby was like that, she had about 14 diapers a day and almost all of them were poop. The poop was often watery with no substance at all, looked just like dark urine. I took her to the doctor for it and was told it was normal, but neither my 2nd or my 3rd had that many diapers or that consistency. She was a colicky baby, I had to stop drinking cow's milk because she was sensitive to the protein in it ( if she were formula fed she would have had to have the super expensive 'predigested' formula)
